Using Welsh population data for stronger funding bids
June 17 @ 1:30 pm - 2:20 pm
This workshop will aim to help voluntary sector staff understand what population data is available in Wales, where to find it, and how it can support reports and funding bids. This will include an introduction to easy‑to‑access sources, such as Public Health Wales dashboards, Office for National Statistics population data and Welsh Government statistics, and an explanation about what each data set can and cannot tell you. You’ll learn how to use data to show local need, highlight inequalities, and make a stronger case for funding. The session will also cover common challenges, like gaps in Welsh‑specific data, and include a short Q&A.
