CharityComms Wales Network: Sharing the comms load in your organisation

29 Jun 2021

75 minutes

Who ‘does comms’? Do your colleagues feel involved in gathering and sharing information about your organisation’s work? Or is that always seen as the comms team’s job? For charity communicators, just like everyone else, pandemic working has changed a lot of things – from restrictions on travel and face-to-face meetings, to everyone having to take on technology and media tools we maybe hadn’t used before. As well as dealing with crisis communications and constant change, we may be more reliant on colleagues to gather stories and info, or need more help to get constantly updated information out across and beyond the organisation. In this fully interactive session, the CharityComms Wales Network will share experience and strategies for effectively sharing the comms load, supporting and empowering others to see communications as part of their role, increasing your capacity, and freeing up your time as a comms specialist to be more strategic.
