Cranfield Trust Training – capturing and communicating your impact

29 Jun 2021

60 minutes

“No numbers without stories, no stories without numbers” “People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it” said Dr Simon Sinek, a leading writer on impact. Voluntary organisations are clear about how they do things, but it’s often difficult to articulate why, and to present information in a way that makes the organisation’s effectiveness evident.

There is growing pressure from funders, donors and government for more and better impact information. Getting the right data – the numbers – and the right qualitative information – the stories – is critical to improving the way organisations work, helping to increase focus on key priorities. This event will be jointly presented by Jayne Kendall, Project Manager Wales at Cranfield Trust and Stuart West, Cranfield Trust Volunteer with a long track record of senior roles in industry and NED positions.
