This is an awareness talk presented by one of Kidney Wales’s Volunteer Ambassadors. Our ambassadors have a personal connection to kidney disease and are passionate about sharing their lived experience to help raise awareness across Wales. The talk will cover Kidney Health, Kidney Disease, Transplantation and Dialysis, an account of lived experience with kidney disease and some information about Kidney Wales and how we support patients and families. By raising awareness of kidney disease, we hope to create a more supportive and understanding environment for those it affects and the people around them.
