The world changed significantly in the first half of 2022. We examine the implications of recent events on the global political and economic landscape, and what this might mean for your organisation’s finances. As well as the effect on financial markets, we consider such questions as:
Inflation is at the highest levels seen in a generation, causing a ‘cost-of-living crisis’ – how resilient is your organisation to this risk?
Has Russia’s invasion of Ukraine marked a turning point towards ‘stakeholder capitalism’, a more inclusive model that should benefit all parties in society, rather than just shareholders? Will you benefit?
