Holding an event at gofod3 is a cost-effective way to reach a varied audience. Whether you’re looking to organise a panel discussion, workshop, talk or surgery, this is the space for you.

We want to ensure you get the most from gofod3 and that the event not only meets but exceeds your expectations.

We are seeking events that will encourage different ways of working, provoke debate and inspire change. Instead of allocating space on a first come first served basis, we are looking for events that will contribute to making gofod3 the best it possibly can be for visitors.

Event space is charged by the hour, but we are flexible in terms of duration of events. If you require a longer slot or would like to add catering options, please contact us on 0300 111 0124 or [email protected] to discuss before submitting your application.

To apply for an event space at gofod3, please complete the application by 12 February 2026. (Please note: incomplete applications will not be considered).

We will notify you of the outcome of your application during week commencing 2 March 2026. While we will make every effort to allocate you the room size and layout that best suits your event, due to limited availability, we may not be able to accommodate every request.

Each event space holder will receive:

• a listing in event guide advertising your organisation’s event
• organisation name and link on gofod3 website and general event publicity
• simultaneous translation (Welsh/English) if required
• full AV package, including laptop and screen
• registration and participant list management on the day

Rooms

• Small – up to 12. Great for more hands on sessions and creating conversations. Works well for focus groups and workshops
• Medium – 25 – 30 – Great for panel talks, or specialist policy updates
• Large – 40 – 50 – Great for panel talks

Please note: Cardiff will be very busy during gofod3 week, with lots of events taking place across the city. To make your trip as smooth as possible, we strongly recommend booking your accommodation early.

Event space fees are based on room size. Room capacities range from smaller spaces for about 10 delegates to larger rooms for 40-50 delegates.
