gofod3 is an event organised by WCVA, in collaboration with the voluntary sector in Wales.

Whether you’re a trustee, staff member, volunteer or all three, gofod3 is designed especially for people involved in Welsh voluntary organisations.

gofod3 was first established in spring 2017 as an annual, one-day event in Cardiff.

Forced to cancel the event in 2020 because of the pandemic, we ran gofod3 as a week-long online festival in 2021 and 2022 and have been running a series of gofod3 mini events in autumn and winter 2023/2024.

gofod3 is about bringing the voluntary sector together.

gofod3 has always been about bringing the voluntary sector together to learn from and inspire one another, so we’re thrilled to be returning to an in-person event in 2024.

This year is the 40th anniversary of Volunteers’ Week! gofod3 will be taking place on 5 June 2024, near the start of Volunteers’ Week, and the programme will reflect this with plenty of celebrating volunteering in Wales and discussing good practice.
