Renewable energy growth in Wales creates community benefit funds, offering local investment and empowerment. This panel, hosted by Community Voluntary Support Conwy (CVSC) and RWE (the largest power producer in Wales), explores these funds’ diverse landscapes.
Discussions will cover grass-roots decision-making, management models, accessibility, impact measurement, and aligning with community needs. Stakeholders, including fund managers and recipients, will share insights and best practices, with the aim of enhancing the funds’ effectiveness, increase awareness, and foster collaboration.
