HEIW (Health Education and Improvement Wales) is the workforce planning and professional development body of the NHS, and we are focusing on the Strategic Mental Health Workforce Plan – the first of its kind in Wales. It aims to increase the mental health workforce, support professional development within mental health and to work closer with partner organisations to deliver better mental health services.
